We finally submitted our project proposal yesterday and I already found out my score during the Pre-Midterms; sadly though, I only got a grade of 1.8

Anyway, it's nothing to worry about. Nothing compared to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. News have it that the Afghan war is a more tougher fight than that of Iraq; "Making headway against the insurgency will probably take longer than in Iraq", says General David Petraeus.

Perhaps, things like this give me the perception of a world full of hate. Why do people have to wage wars against each other? Is there even a way to resolve all these? I couldnt quite think of words to react upon this, even people in authority are having a hard time discussing matters about war.

Nonetheless, there is still hope. All we have to do is to believe in Him who made us. Spare a few minutes to listen to this song by Matisyahu. Pray for our innocent brothers and sisters who have bled and continued to grasp on to their faith; give them hope.

Gomenasai. I haven't posted for 6 days because I was busy cleaning up my room and the whole house these past few days. I never really had something interesting to post here that's why I didn't bother (lol). In the long run, I also lost ideas for my war story and its a bit too hanging if I let you guys read it. Oh well, on the other hand, I'm already thinking about my upcoming 18th birthday. My dad declined the idea of having a cotillion, but I still want to have my own 18 roses, candles and treasures. Kaya lang, I'll hold my party here at our house. I've planned that we'll have the food catered, and the flower arrangements will be made by my mommy; also the cake. I hope my dad would agree with it because I really want to hold this kind of celebration for my 18th. I still haven't thought of what giveaways we'd give to the guests. Any ideas?

Peppery and Savory Blots of Thoughts

Oh well, about the post title, i once used it [as a post title too] on my previous blog; so i thought i might use it again, instead of using "random" as my title. I spent the day at his house with a couple of his friends, discussing about the upcoming CUS (its a tournament that measures the skills and strategies of the best and strongest RF Online players in the Philippines). We still don't have the line up but I'm sure we'll have a strong one in time for the tournament.

I am still working on my war story "The Dark Templar" and I should admit I'm not even halfway done with it. The thought of losing ideas for it just drives me crazy, I feel so attached to the story that if I don't ever get to finish it -- I would be a total failure. Anyway, after posting this one I'll work on it and try to finish it before the week ends (hopefully).

And one more thing! I'll be having a baby boy next month and we (me and my boyfriend) are so excited about it. No, its not "our" baby; its his aunt's baby boy. He'll be leaving her baby to her sister's care while she's in America. I just can't wait to be the baby boy's 2nd mom (:

The Dark Templar

I'm currently working on my 1st RF Online War Story, "The Dark Templar". It was actually inspired by a dream that I had a few months ago, back when I was still head-over-heels "gaga" over the game. This war story is (hopefully) my audition piece for the Novus Archive Chroniclers (NAC), a group under the RF Boards Community which aims to entertain avid readers and gamers alike. It is also a collection of assorted stories that give us a whole new view of what RF really is. It broadens the story behind the planet Novus and the fight that started the war amongt the 3 races. I hope to finish it tomorrow or by the next day, so I could share it with you guys (:

His Level Up Game Cards Collection

I've been to Juno's house last week and decided to mess around a bit while he was cooking lunch, and feeding his cat, Yuroichi and Tomigoro. I was looking around, opening every closet and cabinet in the house when I stumbled upon his stash of cards. No, not Yugi-oh cards, not Magic cards but Level-Up Gaming Cards. They are used to top-up game credits to purchase shop items in-game. These gaming cards used to be game time credits, in which you have to top-up your account to be able to play the game (RF Online used to be Pay-to-Play). He has stacked up these cards since RF's Open Beta days way back November 2005. It was quite a large amount of cards, which summed up to a whopping Php6450. That's worth a new phone these days. Mine just totaled to P2190, its quite big because I'm so in to buying shop potions which increase attack and defense power. Here are pictures of that day:

RF Online Philippines: Novus Rising 2009 Patch

For almost a year, I've ditched blogging because I got so hooked to this online game called Rising Force (RF) Online. Its an international RPG which has one of its servers based in the Philippines. The game was launched way back in November 2005; back to the time when I thought that RF was only a game with a bunch of "tin cans (the term which we use to refer to the Accretian Race)".

Anyway, last April 24 2009 the latest patch called "Novus Rising" was commercially launched and that was very very good news to the whole RF Community. Here's the promotional poster that had gone spreading on the net (for more information, please take the time to visit http://rfboards.levelupgames.ph/ to know more about this game).

Its not exactly a new "patch" but it is a new "client". I bet the other patch "Crimson Dawn" was totally eradicated before this one because it had so many problems like bugs, hacks, system breaching and duplicated items that henceforth destroyed the game.
